Ginette Neveu was a great french violinist around the forties. She died in a plane crash and as the story goes, when they found her body, she supposedly died with the violin kept somewhat intact in her arms. Has the instrument been repaired? What's happened to it?

Her estate probably donated the violin if indeed it was found i believe not, to the French version of our Smithsonian.
