Does anyone know of any contempory pop or rock songs that feature or involve the violin? I already know of stuff by Yellowcard and The Verve. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks.

the Dambuilders featured an electric violin. they're 90's, so not quite contemporary. petra haden is a very popular violinist and played with green day, the rental, and a band called 'that dog.'. you might want to see what she's done recently because she is pretty much pop/rock. she's done some really cool solo stuff recently, too.
